Heyo, I'm Kou! 

Known by Naomi by most; I'm a lover of art, games, anime, music and the colour pink.

A 2017 VCAD graduate, I walked away with a diploma for 3D Modelling & Animation and a mind full of new knowledge and skills that I crave to put to the test. I strive to find jobs and projects to pour my passion and efforts into. 

After taking some time after schooling to work, I consumed a lot of media and looked at it differently thanks to what I've learned and started appreciating media in a new perspective. I am ready to dive into a territory that I had studied for years prior. 

 

I'm inspired by a wide genre of anime, video games and animated movies. Examples of some impactful media that pushes me to create has been Sonic The Hedegehog franchise, The Walking Dead, Undertale, DRAMAtical Murder, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Steven Universe and so much more.

I was always told that being inspired and evolving my creativity around modern media like games and anime weren't going to get me anywhere; That it wasn't the kind of genres that would get me jobs... I'm glad that being stubborn and not letting those attempts of shooting me down got to me. I continued to pursue the genres and styles that made me happy and am now itching to get myself neck-deep into a game or animation project to prove everyone who doubted me wrong.
